Worked as Lecturer & H O D, Computer Science Dept. at St. Philomena College Puttur For 8 Years.
The Udupi Saree Revival Project turned Udupi Saree weaving from the path of Extinction under her effort  and guidance .   She works full time and manages day to day affairs of the Trust.

She is interested in growing  climate tolerant plants like edible weeds , root vegetables etc., and has inspired few people to start simple and eco conscious living, gardening , home cooking and using  handmades.

Accolades:
1. Received DH change makers award 2021 by Deccan Herald along with 20 achievers.
2. Recipient of first International Scholarship for Guilded natural dye education by Mamie’s School House, Cape Brenton Island, Canada

Other activities:
Conducted Diagnostic Study with SWOT and future intervention for Udupi Saree for VTPC along with B C Shetty.

Been associated with Sampoorna Kranti Vidyalaya, Vedchhi, Gujarat since the year 2000 which trains people to work with the vision of a non-exploitative society. Co-founded Sangatya Trust in 2007, experimenting with a sustainable lifestyle and conducting workshops on sustainability

Trustee

Filmmaker and film technician based in Delhi who’s been in the business for the last 26 years. He has worked as a Cinematographer, Producer and Director. He has experience of working closely with stalwarts of cinema like Wes Anderson, Adrien Brody, Mohsen Makhmalbaf, Aamir Khan, Ashutosh Gowariker and many. Besides movies, he has the experience of producing TV Commercials of some leading international brands.
He is an advent supporter of Art and culture

Artist and Agriculturist by profession, , works in the field of conservation of heritage buildings and traditional building technology
Founder of Prachi Trust which works in the field of nurturing Indigenous Art and Culture. Has been working in the field of conservation of flora and rural livelihoods of Mala village in western ghats.

Artist, designer and actor by profession , based in Mysore. Designed the now famous logo for Udupi Saree and attractive label with weavers photo.
An activist of Khadi and handmades , conducts spinning classes. He improvised box charaka design and has established a box charaka brand ‘ emdy ‘. Conducts spinning workshops regularly .

Trustee

Agriculturist who runs a Permaculture farm. Has a collection of more the 350 species of fruit and rare plants of western ghats .Ethnobotany is his field of interest.
